A big thank you to all of our PWA Members and Holiday Social Sponsors for a truly great event Dec. 3rd at the Vesper Boat House in Philadelphia.

Over 150 members filled the Philadelphia Landmark, Vesper Boat House, located on Boathouse row in Philadelphia. The riverfront houses, lit with their traditional outline lights, typically house the local collegiate and high school crew teams as they sit on the Schuylkill River.

The great staff of The DiBruno Brothers Catering, transformed the Vesper House into a PWA Holiday Social that will not be forgotten. Live music, butler hors d’oeuvres, DiBruno’s staple meats and cheeses, open bar of local favorites, and valet parking for all of our members to enjoy. Along with the great venue and accommodations was a room filled with great people who were a buzz of the Wireless Industry and how their 2015 concluded and their aspirations for 2016.

Thank you again to everyone who helped to pull this event together, and to all of our members and Holiday Social Sponsors!

Sept. 3rd: PWA golfers raise $20,000 for Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital

10th Anniversary Social Kicks off 2015 in style!

To the Membership

I wanted to thank all of you who attended our social on January 29, 2015. The association is launching its 10th Anniversary and the Boat House Row event was the kick off ceremony.

The accomplishment to achieve ten years as a not for profit organization and to sustain growth, continuing to educate, providing a safe networking environment and aggressive charitable efforts has been challenging but far more rewarding to all involved. The PWA will be continuing to grow the membership and make our events more beneficial in the decade to come.

Our January 29 event was a complete success, and without the sponsors, we would not be able to provide these activities. I would like to express my gratitude to our event sponsors (see logos on this page).
Without the generosity of the sponsoring companies and the employees who requested the sponsorships, events like this will not be able to take place.  The board and all the members are indebted to the continued support of our sponsors.

Hosting an event along the historic and iconic Boat House Row, was unique and scenic for the folks in attendance.  The view of the skyline and the ability to absorb the history of Boat House Row was an opportunity not many get to experience.   I was grateful that the event was at capacity, but what was more exciting was the number of members who were attending their first event and the number of new members who attended!   Even with the new faces, the core group of folks who attend our activities is critical and important to the success of all our events.    In addition, I would like to extend a big thank you to our friends from Verizon, Sprint and AT&T who’s presence always add value and clout to our events.  Please return to future events and bring your peers!
This year we will be hosting a few activities;  sporting clays, educational session on structural modifications, golf tournament, a Pirates game, and socials. Please take a look at our website for the future dates.
Please join me in thanking Adam Cummins and Bert Stern for heading up this event, their efforts and execution was exceptional.    The rest of our board, Jim Fryer, Mike Damiano, Mario Calabretta, Phil Burtner, Jon Lapic, Adrian Berezowsky, Nick Limberopoulos and Mary Carlile are the best  Board of director in the SWAP national program and ALWAYS are there to support the PWA in any capacity.    The PWA is blessed to have this team support the association.
Please let me know if we can be of any assistance or if you feel compelled to help out the association in any capacity.    You can reach me at 610-745-4491 or  .
Take Care,

Chris Pleibel
